CO2 tax on fuels is further increased in 2016

In 2014, CO2 emissions from fossil fuels in Switzerland have dropped not enough. This goal was not achieved. As provided for in the CO2 Regulation, the CO2 tax on fuels from 1 January 2016 will be increased from today 60.- to 84.- Swiss francs per tonne of CO2.
