A ban on certain refrigeration and air-conditioning systems and heat pumps containing refrigerants that are stable in air enters into force on 1 December 2013 (ORRChem, Annex 2.10, section 2.1).
Bringing refrigerants containing recycled HCFCs onto the market, and using them for refilling refrigeration systems, will be prohibited with effect from 1 January 2015.
